small egg incubator

I. CLEO incubator is suitable for the families and specialized households to incubate chickens, ducks and geese, etc. This machine is produced according to the testing requirements of CE technology standard of EU, and has good reputation from the peasants in the rural area of eastern European countries. The machine has the characteristics of strong practicality, simple operation and long service life, etc.

II. After opening the packing box, please read the instruction book carefully and obey all the operation and explanation items.

III. Safety Suggestions

1.Don’t put this machine outdoors, in the rain or humid places. All the parameters of this machine have been debugged and tested at the factory. The users can not debug any parameter, for any change or modification on the operation may make the machine unworkable or cause loss to the users.

2.Power supply: 220-240V/50HZ, Frequency: ≤110W

3.Make sure the power socket does not overload and the contact between the socket and the plug is good.

IV. Egg Selection

1.The eggs used for incubating should be normal. The ones, which are deformed, broken or have abnormal shapes are all unsuitable. Meanwhile all the selected eggs should be clean, for the eggs used for incubating can not be washed.

2.Make sure the eggs to be incubated are fertilized ones.

3.The eggs to be incubated should be fresh, e.g. chicken and duck eggs within 7 days and goose eggs within 10 days. If the storage time is too long, the success rate of the incubating will be affected.

4.During the 24 hours before incubating, the room temperature for storing eggs should be between 15°Cto 30°C.

5.Maximum incubating amount of this machine, egg gross weight ≤2.6 kg.

Maximum capacity   chicken egg      60 eggs

                                duck egg        50 eggs

                                goose egg       30 eggs

V. Operating Instruction

1.The temperature of the room where the machine is put is 14°C to 30°C. It can’t be put at the doorway, ventilation opening or the location where the air flow is too fast. And there can’t be any chemicals or the equipment with vibration inside the room. When it is operated, it is better to put a quilt or something else keeping warm under the machine, so that more electricity can be saved. When the outside temperature is low, you can wrap the machine with knitted fabric like clothes to keep it warm. But pay attention when wrapping that the air flowing hole can’t be blocked. If it is blocked, the eggs being incubated inside the machine may be short of oxygen, and the success rate of incubating will be affected.

    2. 16 to 24 hours before planning the incubation, turn on the power to operate the machine and do not add water into the tank inside the machine.

    3. 16 to 24 hours after operating the machine, add water into the tank and the water lever can’t higher than 70% of the two tanks (about 7-8mm). After adding water, put the selected eggs onto the grid mesh. Then the incubation starts.

4.Make the eggs paved into a layer on the grid mesh, and the eggs can’t be piled together.

5. Notice: Water is important. Check the water lever inside the tank every day. If it is less, add water in time.

6.On the first and second day after the incubation starts, just check whether there is water inside the tank. If the water is less, add it. But don’t turn over the eggs during the two days. From the third day on, turn over the eggs every morning and evening or once every 12 hours. The angle of turning over is 180°and put the other side of the egg upwards. When turning over the eggs, put the eggs in the middle of the machine to the sides and put the ones on the sides to the middle so as to increase the incubating rate. At the same time of turning over the eggs, check the water inside the tank. There are water quality requirements that the polluted water and the water with excessive microorganism can’t be used. As for tap water, it can be used after being precipitated for 12 hours.

7.When turning over the eggs, the lid of the machine can’t be put upside down and should be put horizontally. Don’t cut off the power when opening the lid and turning over the eggs. It’s required the power can’t be cut off during one incubating period. Only after the whole incubation has finished can the power be turned off.

8. If the weather is dry, moisten your finger with water when turning over the eggs so as not to hurt the eggs.

9. During every incubating period, there is no need to turn over the eggs for the last two days, e.g.:

        Chicken      after 18 days

Duck        after 25 days     Don't turn over the eggs after these days

        Goose       after 27 days

As for other poultry like pheasants, pigeons, combining with usual cultivation habit, do not turn over the eggs for the last two days.

10. For better incubation and more convenient operation

A. Mark. Make marks on both sides of every egg which is to be incubated. It's available to make marks with different colors or different handwritings, which is more convenient for every turning-over. With marks, it will not be forgotten or missed.
